Job Description

The Soquel Union Elementary School District is accepting applications for the position of Music Teacher Capitola Elementary School, .40 FTE, temporary status for the remainder of 2002-2003 school year.

CREDENTIAL REQUIREMENT:
Valid California Teaching Credential authorizing service in the area of Music required. Applicants must provide proof that s/he has passed the California Basic Education Skills Test (CBEST) or been employed in California in a regular certificated position in the past 39 months.

BENEFITS:
No health and welfare benefits. Successful candidate will have Medicare, unemployment insurance and worker’s compensation coverage.

SALARY:
Placement on Certificated Salary Schedule based on prior experience and graduate units (see schedule).
